We held our first meeting here at Accel Motors last Friday to discuss what we can do from San Diego to help the victims of Tohoku Earthquake/Tsunami catastrophe that occurred on 3/11/11. More than expected number of people (about 100) showed up for this meeting that was organized on the fly. Local business owners, engineers, doctors, housewives, students, military personal, even Honorary Consul General of Japan showed up to discuss about the the crisis that’s currently engulfing Japan. The organization name we have created is: SDJEN and you can find us on Facebook group/page. There are multiple fundraiser events that are posted everyday. Check it out. We would like to orchestrate this organization as THE network to take action in case of an emergency . If you would like to join, volunteer, donate etc. please contact us.

As for Accel Motors, we are currently in planning stage for the Charity Motorcycle Riding Event and also supporting the bazaar that will be held on 4/10 (Below is the poster for the event). We will be providing our space to help out for the bazaar and other booth @ Accel Motors so please stop by and check it out on 4/10, Sunday! More information/events to follow..

Deepest condolences for the victims of the earthquake/tsunami/radiation etc that is ongoing in Tohoku regions and the vicinity of Japan. Here at Accel Motors, we are holding a community discussion meeting to discuss what WE can do to help from across the Pacific Ocean. Time for the meeting has been set to: 3/18/2011, 18:00 (6PM). I know it is a very short notice but I have already heard back from 20-30 people for this meeting to be held. This is our FIRST meeting but it will not be the last. The recovery process will be long and difficult but we can help, little by little and will be holding this type of meeting periodically. Thank you for all of your support, Japanese people appreciate every bit of it.
